Spring/Summer

From late spring (April) through early fall (September), we open our public events. As a private club, only members may check out keys to use the rifle and pistol ranges when we are not hosting public events.

Fall/Winter

During the fall and winter, with shorter days and snow, we limit our public programs to Saturday morning Sporting Clays. This event will close after heavy snowfall and likely remain closed until spring due to our current lack of snow plowing resources. Members can still check out a key to the gate, but access to the ranges is limited to what has been plowed, usually the 100-yard rifle range and the pistol ranges.

Public Events

Saturday Morning Sporting Clays

• The Gun Club offers a 12-station, 100-target course.

• The course may close in winter due to snow or in summer due to fire restrictions. Please check before you come.

• Winter schedule (October to April): Squads start shooting at 10 AM (9:30 check-in).

• Summer schedule (May to September): Squads start shooting at 9 AM (8:30 check-in).

Wednesday Night Pistol Program

• Runs from May through September.

• Organized by Bob Kirk: (970) 618-4246.

• Sessions are from 5:00 PM to dusk on Wednesday nights.

Monday Rifle and Pistol:

• Open to the public on the first Monday night of each month from May to September, starting at 3:00 PM.
